
Everyone loves Los Angeles. There is so much to see and do in this town; it could take weeks to uncover it all. From the posh Los Angeles hotels, to the exquisite eateries, LA is full of life. However, most people come to the LA area to see the stars. Movies and TV production is big in this town. But, that is not the only thing LA has going for it. When in the greater Los Angeles area, there are many things that one must ensure they take in.
- Disneyland- If one has children, Disneyland is a must. Spend the day with Mickey and the crew and enjoy rides and attractions.
- Catalina Island-This paradise looks like something that is in a tropical area, rather than LA. Spend the day with family and friends soaking up sun and swimming.
- Six Flags-If one loves adventure, then Six Flags is a great way to spend the day. This amusement park has rides and attractions for all age groups.
- Hollywood-One can simply not visit Tinsel town without visiting Hollywood. Hollywood is not a city, but merely a neighborhood in LA. The Hollywood sign draws thousands of tourists each year alone. There are many star studded attractions, such as the Walk of Fame and star homes tours, to name a few.
- Visit the Studios-All movie buffs simply have to visit at least one of the studios. Warner Brothers, Paramount and Universal, are all exciting ways to get up and close with stars. Some even allow VIP passes and front of the line advantages, which give one a head start over the large crowds.
- Rodeo Drive-It has been the most famous shopping section for decades. Rodeo Drive has all the elite shops from Tiffani’s to Gucci. Live like the rich, even if it is only to window shop.
Los Angeles is an adventure. Driving down Sunset Blvd once can see that they are not in a normal city. This city has more to offer than one could ever take in. Being selective and choosing the sites and events that fit ones family, will take time and an itinerary. LA is worth the drive or flight, it is a whole different world.
